More Pictures along the way - April 25th, Vancouver, British Columbia

Today is Friday, April 25th, our 2nd day in Vancouver. We are going to get back on the trolley to get to a couple of spots where we want to get off and walk around.

Brocklon Point Lighthouse in Stanley Park, Vancouver. I am hoping that tomorrow before we leave that we can drive through Stanley Park and stop and get some better pictures.Girl in wetsuit. Also hoping to get a better picture of this. I didn't have my telephoto lens on and didn't have time while the bus was whizzing by.
Street art on Granville Island. I think Diane has the other picture of this pair in her posting for today.
The Inukshuk in Vancouver that is the basis for the icon for for Winter Olympics to be held in Vancouver in 2010.
Gassy Jack, plaques on statue below.

The Gastown Steam Clock fascinated me.

The countdown clock until the start of the Olympics in Vancouver. If you click on it and get a larger image, you can see that 0686 (days) on the first line and 04 20 48 (hours, minutes, seconds) on the second line. This is the time until the opening of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010.
Tomorrow we head back into the states but I hope to get some more closeup pictures in Stanley Park before we leave.
